Volunteer day – Today, we will gather together as usual at The Market House @ 9:45am or in Townsend farmyard @ 10:15. We will be planting a minimum of 18 new shrubs and maybe another 20 trees to replace those damaged when cattle entered the site.
This will, we hope, be a fairly gentle post-Christmas session, ending up with food and warming beverages at a local eatery
We may go by car (although the site is walkable if you want to do that, and definitely cyclable); and we will work from about 10:30-12:30. You’ll need strong boots and gloves but a planting spade will be provided.
